On the news we see the wide spread of people testing positive with the corona virus, We see grandpa’s, grandma’s, mom’s, dad’s, young people battling for life here and around the World, scientists, researchers working round the clock. Pictures of doctors, nurses and pharmacist going far and beyond, commitment and desperation to save lives. We are at home and the healthcare workers are at the front line working tirelessly. Some families have been seperated because mom or dad is at the frontline, Retirees are ready to put on the coat or scrub again to save human life.
We are praying for you.
Thank you to all the health care workers at the frontline.

Even while many of us are at home, remember to be appreciative. Remember to be thankful you have food in your fridge. It’s very easy for us to complain about all the problems and setbacks this pandemic has caused, but instead let’s use it as a reminder to not take what we have for granted.

As many of us are stuck at home not knowing what’s going on and distancing ourselves from our friends and close family. This is a great opportunity to look back and be thankful for what you have. Remember all the memories and fun (or maybe not so fun) things you did when you were younger. Always have a heart of service and try to help as many people as possible in your own home, or even a fellow neighbor or friend.

Wow! Today marks the end of the first week of online learning! It was a crazy ride. Daniel forgot to mark himself for attendance yesterday. With so many emails and questions and work, I thought we would never see the day, but it was not so bad. we finished early most of the time and we were able to do things after our school work. We hope that you have enjoyed your extended period at home and for students, that school has not been too tough for you. Thank you to all the teachers that have literally spent their whole day making videos, answering questions, and just so much more.
Enjoy your weekend!

So much uncertainty around the world. New norms in our greeting, social distancing, wearing a mask around everywhere you go, working from home and online classes for all elementary to high school students. This was tough for the teachers, students, and parents. Teachers learned and prepared a new way of teaching within days. As students get ready to take up a new challenge, parents wonder how this will all play out.
I have constantly thought about the commitment of teachers to teach their students. Without teachers, they will be no profession. Teachers have once more shown the world their commitment to impact the next generation within days. In this new way of learning, I want to say a big thank you to all teachers.
