A young programmer, software developer, author, and speaker.
Timothy says,
“I was always fascinated every time I saw a computer. I became even more curious when I discovered the tap of a number or letter on the keyboard would appear on the screen. I taught myself how to play games on the computer. At the age of five, I started thinking I could create my own apps, but it sounded impossible. At the age of nine, Mrs. Joyner, my school teacher, introduced me to Philip, a high school student who told me if I wanted to create my own app, I must learn how to code. I created my first game in Python. I continued to improve and really got a leg up when I got the opportunity to attend a technology school where I learned in-depth about the coding process. I introduced my brothers to coding and now we all work as a team. We are getting ready to roll out the next big thing. But we need kids from all over the world to join us in this journey!”
“Coding is a gift I received from the Lord. Bugzero.codes is a playground where solutions to problems come alive. We want to discover how we can learn better in the classroom. There’s a daily need for solutions through coding in jobs, our personal well-being, and family life. We will continue to solve those problems through coding and have fun while doing it. We are building a platform where kids and adults can come together to build solutions through code. At Bugzero.codes, we are passionate about creating apps, sharing our ideas, and encouraging everyone in their coding journey. We think it’s important to engage with kids and help them bring their ideas to life. Today’s digital world is centered around coding and we are not in it alone. “I want to encourage kids to understand the need to learn how to write code because coding is the global language in today’s digital world, and kids need to communicate through this global language called coding.
I also want kids to be partakers in identifying challenges and building solutions to problems around the home, school, and community through code.
I am always happy whenever invited by schools to engage boys and girls to bring alive solutions around them through code. I encourage them and constantly tell them they too can code.
I was driven by a passion to learn how to code. I have continued to learn and still want to learn more to give back to kids and communities around the world.
I love to play ping-pong. I also play the xylophone and piano.”
Daniel
Co-Founder, Project Manager
The big brother to Timothy and Eugene, Daniel takes on the role of project manager, helping generate ideas and overseeing the projects as they go from concept to application.
Daniel says,
I enjoy programming, it is so cool and amazing to identify problems that have lasted for too long and give solutions to those problems. There are problems all around us that we need to solve not just on paper but on the computer. As we roll out apps to solve these problems, we need people to join us because coding is the future and I believe everyone should learn it.
When I am not doing school work or coding I love to play basketball and soccer. I also enjoy playing the piano and the saxophone. Many sacrifices have been made by my awesome family and I have rolled my sleeves up not only to create apps but to give back.
Eugene
Co-Founder, Quality Assurance
Eugene keeps things running smoothly, making sure Timothy’s code is sound and their apps are bug-free! He’s the last word in quality assurance before a project is complete.
Eugene says,
Programming is a need in every job. I love coding because it makes things work better and the attention to detail, making sure the right punctuation is in the right place, has helped me in my everyday school work. I believe that programming is for everyone and I am ready to help in any way I can to see boys and girls get into coding as well as whole families. I am ready to share my knowledge and provide encouragement. No one should be left behind.
For my hobbies, I play soccer, basketball, and ping pong. I also enjoy singing, playing the piano, and trombone. My amazing family takes the time to teach me, play with me, and support me. I will be making those sacrifices for you, too. Join me!
