Guess what? It is Christmas Day! Yay! My hope for everyone this Christmas is to be together with family and enjoy one another’s company. Many people have traveled and having a great time with there families and friends. We hope you enjoy this day of thankfulness as we look back at 2019 and excited for what 2020 has in store! Coding is like putting the pieces of a puzzle together. The small puzzle pieces put together to reveal a magnificent picture. After every ingredient is put together a wonderful meal is created.

Coding allows the use of different programming languages. Examples include Java, Ruby, Python and so much more. Several methods of cooking include baking, steaming and roasting.

Mom loves to cook and she cooks a lot. Most of our food is from scratch. We started learning how to cook rice, fry plaintain, saute vegetables, bake cookies and so much more. It just occurred to me they are similarities between cooking and coding. Let us list a few similarities:

Organization – In coding, we use data structure in arranging our lines of code, In cooking, we arrange our ingredients
Display – In coding we display our work in the frontend and backend, In cooking, we display our food in the kitchen and on the table.
Solving challenge(s) – Coding solves several challenges, cooking solves hunger, nutrition, and health.
