One of the most frequently asked questions we get about our books is ” when do you all have time to do school work, play soccer, play music instruments, Sing, write our blogs, write, code and PLAY.
We play every day. Some of the things we do take about 15 minutes, some more than 15 minutes and others longer. Some have been more than a year like our book project. These are things we enjoy doing and because we enjoy doing them, we always make out time for them.
Making out time for the things you enjoy is wonderful. Don’t forget to make time for those things you really enjoy and care about.
Problem-solving is the root of every innovation and solution. Everything around us comes from the thought or the discovery of a challenge and a solution to that challenge. Some people find solutions and build it, others do not give it a thought, others start and stop, others discourage and try to stop the solution.
How do we solve this problem?
Encourage little ideas.
Find people who agree with your idea.
Read and learn about others.
Understand that everyone will not support/agree with your idea(s)
If it doesn’t work learn from it and try again.
Be a helper to others sometimes helping may just be a ” good job” sometimes it may just be “how is it going?”

In programming, it can be very tempting to just skip the basics and get on to the “cool” part, but that’s not the right way to learn. Teachers do not teach 2nd graders algebra. Why? Because they do not know the basics. It is the same with programming. You have to understand the logic behind the code.
When it comes to developing apps, it is so cool. Once you get a good hold on a language and practice and practice you begin to get comfortable and over time improve your skillset in that.
Cyber Security is different and very interesting. Some of the stuff from the outside looks like common sense. I know some is already applied in our daily life without realizing it. Securing data is important in the digital World. It is an area open to many including kids.

We want kids to understand, hear, see and get familiar with coding. Like all other languages, kids start learning any language early not later.
