This question is a big question, there is a huge shortage in the tech industry to fill the jobs that are available.
There are very few computer science teachers in schools, who will really teach the kids?
Bringing a change is in the hands of every developer, it will start in the homes, families, neighborhood, and communities.
It is a challenge only the tech community can make the change.

As the tech community begins to do this, kids will begin to take their place in tech.

When my brothers and I were first starting to understand programming, my mom had bought all these different books from the store. We were really excited!!! It was exciting to read about python when we got to the project, it was more fun! We read the books so frequently that it felt like we had all the pages of the books in our head. Every week we go to the library to get books, we get to read about several fun stuff. Reading is informative, it is empowering, it gives insight to things you may never know. You learn something new.

Without those books, we would be nowhere near as good at programming as we are today. Programming needs practice and you need to know the terms used in each programming language.

Distraction is such a huge challenge, it cuts across all age groups especially in today’s Digital World. It is so easy to lose focus from a plan, sometimes we do every other thing rather than our goal, sometimes we go in circles.
Combating distraction is a skill that needs to be acquired so we can get to the finish line.
The digital World offers so much distraction at the same time it demands focus. Learning/mastering coding combats distraction.

The second month of the year is gone. Many ideas came to mind especially in the last days of 2018. Sometimes we may get disappointed from things not working as planned. Sometimes the change in plan is a new lead. Sometimes we need to do more, sometimes we need to call for help, sometimes we need to continue.

As long as we stay focused gradually things will begin to change.
Staying focused cuts across all age groups. So let’s stay focused and continue until we get to a new chapter.

We had a great time visiting the data center at Cisco.
We got to see switches, routers, cloud, and so many wonderful things and so much more. We know these are in existence, seeing it and how it works, was very exciting.
